Things are about to get a little weird.
We're thrilled to be reteaming with culinary adventurer Bob Blumer for World's Weirdest Restaurants, a global extravaganza of 52 eccentric, off-the-wall eateries, crazy characters and extreme cuisine. This exciting new series premieres Wednesday, April 4 at 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. PT/ET on Food Network Canada.

Each episode of World's Weirdest Restaurants takes viewers to four different, bizarre eateries from Tokyo to Milwaukee, Amsterdam to Vancouver and many places in between. Along the way, Bob gets served beer by a macaque monkey in a Japanese tavern, crashes a pop-up nudist restaurant in New York City, eats curry from a toilet in Taiwan and gets frisky with the 53 resident kitties at Tokyo's Calico Cat Café. A veritable feast of original restaurants and unique concept cafes, World's Weirdest Restaurants is an all-out adventure in international eating.

"We spent six months circumnavigating the globe in search of mind-bending, jaw-dropping restaurants. I dined in a rabbit hole, a prison cell and a laundromat, and was served by monkeys, cross-dressers and Neanderthals," Bob says. "I've definitely eaten at some crazy places in my life, but nothing compares to what viewers are going to see in this new series."
Get ready to satisfy your appetite for the truly bizarre with World's Weirdest Restaurants.
