Greetings from the Yukon

I flew into Whitehorse, Yukon on Sunday. Only two hours north of Vancouver by plane, but a world apart. Population 26,000, a resource town that’s in the middle of a boom.

I’ve been invited up here for the Available Light Film Festival.

It was a spectacular clear day. The air crisp and sharp.

The locals are very friendly, especially if you’re willing to spend time drinking with them...and know when to put your camera away.
