Eat St. is on the road again! We’re kicking off of our third season with a pair of back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, May 9th at 10:00pm ET/PT on Food Network Canada. Viewers south of the border can also catch the action on Tuesday, May 15th at 8:00pm ET on the Cooking Channel. Buckle up and come along for the ride as we visit two continents, three countries and eight cities in our ongoing quest to bring you the world’s finest street food.
The first stop on our global tour is Caplansky’s, a Jewish deli truck from Toronto that serves up Kosher-style classics with a twist.
Next, it’s time for dessert at the Lake Street Creamery in Los Angeles, where they dish out deliciously unique ice cream flavours like Homemade Donut and Earl Grey Tea.
Then it’s off to Nashville for some original Mexican gourmet at the Yayo’s OMG truck.
We finish our first episode in Austin at Gourdough’s, where they take doughnuts to a whole new level with a special lip-smacking creation injected with Jalapeño jelly and topped with cream cheese and Canadian bacon.
Still hungry for more? We go into overdrive in our second episode by visiting the Dim and Den Sum truck in Cleveland for some tasty Asian-American comfort food.
Next is Alley Burger in Calgary, where Top Chef Canada competitor Connie DeSousa’s truck serves up some supersized delights like his gargantuan Whole Truck Burger.
Then it’s off to jolly old London for a spicy Indian mouthful at a cart called Everybody LoveLove Jhal Muri Express.
Finally, we return to the U.S. to Tampa Bay to the Wicked ‘Wiches truck for the greatest – and most heart-stopping – things on sliced bread.
This year, for the first time ever, we’ll also be tweeting throughout all of our episodes. Join the conversation on Wednesday evening by including #EatStTV in all of your messages. Let the countdown begin!
