Dussault Inc. is an edgy docu-sitcom that follows the busy lives of Canadian celebrity streetwear designer Jason Dussault and his partner Mashiah Vaughn, as they struggle to keep their businesses – and their family – on the rails. With a million-dollar flagship Dussault Apparel store in Los Angeles, Jason thought they had hit the big-time – creating high-priced, custom-made clothing to rock-and-roll celebrities like Criss Angel, Kid Rock and Nicole Ritchie. But when the economy took a turn for the worse, they lost it all. Back in Vancouver with two sons to raise – 15-year-old Ayden and 24-month-old Ronin – Jason is risking everything to bring Dussault Apparel back to the top, while Mashiah works her own bath cosmetics line Open Sundaes.
Dussault Inc. returns for a second season from sunny Los Angeles, where Mashiah moved to pursue her acting career after leaving Jason at the altar. Jason, wanting to be with the kids and win her back, follows her to Hollywood where he is also determined to revive his brand Dussault Apparel by designing custom items for celebrities like Lou Ferrigno, Verne Troyer, Dave Navarro and Gilbert Gottfried. Romance may be on hold, but sparks will definitely continue to fly for these unlikely roomies sharing the same house on Melrose. While Mashiah connects with a new social circle, including Vivica A. Fox, Bai Ling and Steve Nash, her teenage son Ayden finds it difficult to adjust to his new living arrangement, until he meets some of his idols like Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, pro skater Christian Hosoi, comedian Andy Milonakis and motorcross champion Lance Coury. With their over-the-top personalities, relationship challenges and limited budgets, one thing is for sure – Jason and Mashiah are not ready to give up their dream of making it big.
